Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) invites Torontonians to enjoy the Caribbean culture in the upcoming second annual Caribbean Rum & Rhythm Festival Friday, October 30, 2009, 6-9 in the fermentation Cellar in Distillery District.
This festival will feature award-winning samples of rum, rum-based cocktails and cuisine prepared by some of the best chefs Caribbean. There will also be musical performances, where guests will be invited to dance when they enjoy the taste of the Caribbean. An auction will be held at the benefits of the CTO, which provides opportunities for immigrants to learn Caribbean tourism, hospitality and language.
This festival will last for a week the Caribbean, which took place from Friday, October 23 to Monday, November 1, 2009. Caribbean Sunday honor and brought together officials to discuss tourism and investment opportunities in the Caribbean, as well as inspire a trip to the region.
“The Caribbean Rum & Rhythm Festival pretty much the most anticipated event for the Caribbean Sunday,” said Hugh Riley’s CTO secretary general. “This is an opportunity for authentic Caribbean experience while here in Canada.”
Guests must be 21 years old to attend the festival. Tickets cost $ 55 per person and includes six samples of rum, cocktails and food tastings.
