The Turks and Caicos Tourist Board is pleased to announce the arrival of WestJet three weekly direct flights from Toronto to Providenciales beginning, Tuesday, November 4, 2009.
Dr. Hubert Fulford, Chairman of the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board said, “Congratulations to WestJet to launch service to our islands, we feel this shows the confidence the airline had our goals.”
WestJet will fly between Toronto and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos three times per week from now until May 1, 2010 with the Toronto flight leaving at 10:00 am and arrived in Providenciales at 1:50. In return, the flight left at 2:45 Providenciales arrived in Toronto at 6:45 PM.
Mr Ralph Higgs, acting director of tourism for tourists Council said, “WestJet excited Tourist Board’s decision to introduce flights to Turks and Caicos. Canada is our second largest market for tourists coming to our islands and we are confident that the introduction of new airlines WestJet will allow Canada more people to travel to our shores. ”
