Session end Surf Caribbean Surf Network’s 2009 Series will be run in the Soup Bowl Surfing Beach in Barbados on 28-29 November. Jamaica’s surfers currently filling upper echelon standings.

“This year Jamaica will come into his own with hard work had been done earlier JSA to pay off. We had a really targeting our junior surfers through our youth development programs with the aim of dominating the surf in our area very near future and we have see signs of success … “said JSA President Billy Wilmot.

In the Open Men’s Division, Jamaica has eight surfers in the ten and the Junior Division, the top three positions currently occupied by Jamaica. Women’s Division was not seriously contested as a Jamaican woman to compete in only the first of a series of events that leave them with large losses in the pursuit of points.

Jamaica is a leader in regional sports and JSA want to make that the norm in local surf too. The surfers will leave on 26 November and again on December 1.
