Now, people all over the world will have the opportunity to display their talents at the Festival, thanks to new Internet-based competition. Talented amateurs who wish to enter should visit the festival website `s smart (www.jamaicajazzandblues.com), and a member of J & B Fan Zone. With the membership, people can upload their music and video performance.
According to Marcia McDonnough, marketing manager JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival, `There are many activities that can be done at JJ & B Fan Zone to get points, and Band Quest entrants might attract new fans, who have the power to choose them and immigrants who also brought closer to the show in JAMAICA Jazz and Blues stage. `
He added that up to 60 participants with the highest number of points will be selected as finalists and will be invited to audition live in the United States and in Jamaica.
