Touched by tragedy recently in neighboring Haiti, turnkey Productions, producers of JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival, has introduced a food aid program to help the earthquake victims.
`We are very emotionally close to the devastation in Haiti. Our trusted Haitian-born friend and colleague, Roxanne Hurley, currently on the island, `explains turnkey executive producer Walter Elmore. Elmore went on to explain that his team has not been able to reach and develop Hurley concerned.
Working closely with local institutions, turnkey package will collect and non-perishable food from visitors who attend the annual festival for delivery to the poor countries. Customers may leave donations at select ticket outlets will be announced today, Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
`Details of the precise drive us still being developed,` said Elmore. `We have just started a dialogue with local governments, which, like the whole world is experiencing challenges in communicating with Haitian officials.` Elmore committed to providing more information about relief efforts in the coming hours.

Annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, the Caribbean `s best music event, will be held from 24-30 January, 2010 in Jamaica.
Festival has become synonymous with Jamaican culture and the performance will feature not only local but international acts including killing several award-winning Gladys Knight, “ Kenneth Babyface Edmonds, Erykah Badu, Billy Ocean, Joe Roy Jackson, Kelly Price, Tamia, Deborah Cox, Hall and Oats, Jon Secada, Monty Alexander, Roy Ayers, Third World, Marion Hall, and Max Sam Milby.
Jamaica Jazz since it was introduced in 1996 known as the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, has attracted thousands of visitors from the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and Jamaica.
This year, the festival is again presented by the main sponsor, the Jamaica Tourist Board. Other sponsors include Air Jamaica, Iberostar, Rose Hall Resort, CVM TV, Link Up Group, Jamrock Magazine, Nationwide 90 FM and the company tax, among others.
