Being staged in Barbados for the first time, the event has brought together more than 100 male and female elite cyclists from 20 Caribbean countries are different, all in an effort to determine who the best cyclist in the area really is. When you think of the Caribbean islands to travel to the cheap, Barbados may not be the first to appear in your mind. You may not see a lot of transactions to all-inclusive resorts in the e-mail as you did from the Bahamas or Jamaica, but it certainly does not mean that no agreement could be obtained. It’s a recession – it’s time to rethink your travel strategy.
Front of the beach resorts nix: Barbados is a beautiful, but often very expensive, luxury resorts lining the pristine beach. If you’re on a budget, look farther into the interior for your accommodation, which may be better for your money. On the other side of the island, Sea-U Guest House also includes breakfast and a full service restaurant for dinner ($ 109-189 per night).
As the year comes to a close and you start thinking about the holidays for the year 2010, the Barbados Tourism Authority wants tourists to know that Barbados is not only a Caribbean beach destination. Of course, sand and sea to make a sexy scene, but the island does not want to rest on its beauty. The Tourism Authority released the schedule for ‘10 to show it had some substance, or at least a few cool festivals and events.
